Yes. The current build supports up to six players in a round over LAN or direct IP. Steam matchmaking and Steam invites are not currently available. You can also play solo.
Seven in the current build: Campground has nine holes, and the other six courses have eighteen each. That’s 117 holes across woodland, urban, garden, coastal, and quarry settings.
